None are recent, it goes without saying, but I'm saying it anyway.
Immigration Rant: There are a few immigrant workers in my neighborhood—don’t know/care if they’re legal—who are INDISPENSABLE to the places where they work. Everybody knows them, and they know everybody’s name. And they are my friends.
The Supreme Court has affirmed that simply being in the country without documentation is a civil matter, not a criminal one. If ICE comes for them, and I’m aware, they will have to go through me. That’s Truth.
