Why? Because this generation of ad creatives just plain ain’t as good as past generations. I don’t know exactly why, but the evidence—the work—is overwhelming. Probably reliance on the Internet is one reason; it doesn’t expand thinking, it contracts it. Maybe it’s because I’m too old to “get” the new creative work? Yeah-Nah. Truly good work is timeless, as you’ll see below.
